Northern Province Under-19 Women’s Cricket Squad had the rare and inspiring opportunity to participate in a special training session with the New Zealand National Women’s Cricket Team at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium on the 13th of October 2025.
It was a truly valuable experience for our young Girls learning firsthand from world-class Cricketers, gaining insights into international cricket, and being motivated by the Kiwis’ remarkable dedication, professionalism, and physical fitness.
This unforgettable event was made possible through the joint effort of The Foundation of Goodness and the New Zealand High Commission, whose support continues to uplift and empower aspiring female cricketers from the Northern Region.
